Welcome to the first posting of the Pilpul Blog. Hopefully you have been redirected from the website. The purpose of this site is to expand the website into a more social experience. I have lots of things to take you through and we will use the Blog as the primary vehicle to help you through the learner journey.
In order to get you started I will be doing a study of the Book of Revelation. You may think this is strange but I want to do this for a few very good reasons.
Firstly its a gateway to the rest of the Bible. Chuck Missler has said that each symbol, code or allusion is answered elsewhere in the Bible provided you know where to look.
Secondly its an exciting spiritual adventure which like going to see a movie about a true event you know how it ends (He wins!)
Lastly a lot of the modern media has done a disservice to the text. Creating seemingly endless History Channel programming and dire movies about what everyone thinks it means.
To have a fun beginning before we look at the text I will list a few movies and TV shows that use The Book of Revelation as source material then twist it to give a false message. (Click on the links where available for trailers)
